AUME was born through a mutual love for all things beautiful, the art of textiles and a drive to make change in an industry that often feels suffocating.
From opposite corners of the world, AUME was born when two driven women decided to uproot their lives and pursue a Masters in sustainable textile development in Lake Como, Italy.

With a background in Luxury Marketing, after 5 years back home in Australia, I was desperate for change and tired of being just another cog in the chain... I wanted to make a difference, above all else, I wanted to be proud of what I was doing. Reminiscent of my early years spent in Hong Kong and Paris, studying fashion and working at Vogue, once again I found myself yearning for growth and ready to take a plunge into the unknown.

Born in Mexico, yet truly a citizen of the world, I have explored both my roots and the most vivid expressions of the cultures I’ve encountered. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration—it captivates me, grounds me, and has taught me that we cannot live without it. To respect and protect it is, I believe, the most essential act for achieving harmony on our planet. My career in Mexico and Italy have opened my mind and heart, equipping me with the skills, knowledge, and curiosity to continue creating beauty—pieces that are not only functional and meaningful, but also deeply sustainable.
